I have not had a goose land in my pond since I put the swan in, two weeks so far. I’m getting less Herons as well. Two real swans came in and tried to be friendly, but lost interest... wonder why?

If you move them around they work great. Swans must scare everything away; cause the ducks are gone too.

The swan I received doesn’t look the same as the one pictured - head is positioned down near the base. Haven’t tried floating it yet, but have it on my lawn next to the lake and it has done a reasonable job of keeping the geese away. It worked for a couple of weeks, then a flock of geese were brave enough to ignore it, so I moved it and it has been affective since. I was out of town for a few days and my neighbor reported that the geese were giving it a wide berth. Realistic enough that my neighbor’s wife thought it was real. Best solution I’ve tried so far.
